Account Required

You'll need to create a Novl account to use the add-in. Account creation is part of the setup process.

Step 1: Install from Microsoft AppSource

Novl is available on the official Microsoft AppSource store. Click below to open the listing and add the add-in to your Microsoft account.

Get Novl on AppSource

On the AppSource page, click Get it now and sign in with the Microsoft account you use for PowerPoint. AppSource will confirm the add-in is available across your Office apps.

Step 2: Open Novl in PowerPoint

Launch PowerPoint

Open PowerPoint on Mac, Windows, or the web. Make sure you're signed in with the same Microsoft account you used on AppSource.

Find the Novl button

Look for the Novl AI button in the Home tab of the ribbon. Click it to open the assistant pane.

Sign in to Novl

Create your Novl account or sign in to start building decks. Your free trial starts immediately — no credit card required.

Prefer to install from inside PowerPoint?

You can also add Novl without leaving PowerPoint:

  1. In PowerPoint, go to Insert → Get Add-ins (on some versions this is Home → Add-ins)
  2. Select the Store tab
  3. Search for Novl
  4. Click Add on the Novl listing

Don't see the Novl button?

  1. In PowerPoint, go to Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins
  2. Click Refresh
  3. If Novl still isn't listed, fully quit and reopen PowerPoint so your AppSource entitlement syncs
