Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install the Novl add-in for PowerPoint

Account Required

You'll need to create a Novl account to use the add-in. Account creation is part of the setup process.

Step 1: Download the Installer

Download the Novl installer script. It will automatically install the add-in and open PowerPoint.

Step 2: Run the Installer

Open Terminal

Open Terminal (you can find it in Applications → Utilities → Terminal)

Run the Script

Navigate to your Downloads folder and run the installer:

sh ~/Downloads/novl-mac-installer.sh

Find Novl in PowerPoint

PowerPoint will open automatically. Look for the Novl AI button in the Home tab.

Alternative: Manual Installation

If the installer doesn't work, you can manually upload the manifest:

  1. Download the manifest file
  2. Open PowerPoint and go to Insert → Get Add-ins → My Add-ins
  3. Click Upload My Add-in
  4. Select the downloaded manifest file
